a classic vintage wedding at ford park | beaumont, tx
Elishah and I were in grade school together with her two sisters Ellie and Tess. I spent countless days and nights at their house with their family. So when I got an email from Elishah about shooting her wedding I was all in. I adore her and her family. They are all so kind and generous. I am so thankful to have known them and to still know them today.
Elishah and Josh's wedding was a fun, exciting day. From the moment I saw her Elishah was wiggling with anticipation and joy. They were married at Wesley United Methodist Church in Beaumont, Tx. Elishah volunteers at One Youth group every week and Wesley is very much like home to her.
Every detail of her day was carefully thought out and so perfectly her. It was classic, vintage with so much beauty. She found her dress years earlier at a vintage shop for only $27. It is SO incredible because the dress is breathtaking. The woman who did her alterations said that the dress had only been worn twice and was 50 years old (if I remember correctly...). The ceremony began at 6:30pm and the aisle was lined with twinkle lights. My favorite moment of the ceremony was the beautiful time they took with their families to have a private moment to pray together. They ended the ceremony with a big dip and long kiss! Beach Boys played while they ran back down the aisle together. SO CUTE!
The reception was gorgeous and so much fun! There were tons and tons of flavors of tea and lemonade. They had a small pasta bar... Not to mention the fajita bar with cheese and nachos. GIVE ME ALL THE FOODS. Then they lit the dance floor with twinkle lights and danced all night long.
Leave some love for the new Mr. & Mrs. Chrisman!
