Downtown Beaumont park | engagement session
Meet Kameron and Taryn. They are one of the many couples in the Golden Triangle that were affected by hurricane Harvey. They were scheduled to have their wedding in October but because of the devastation that Harvey left in their cities, families, and homes that is no longer possible. Taryn and her family got through the storm with the clothes off their back and are doing their best to re-build. The stories surrounding their situation is heart-breaking to say the least. Taryn recalled some of the details of the night that water began to fill the house of her mother and the desperation in her voice because she wasn't sure if she would be able to escape.
"Its in the quiet moments that I cry. The loss we've experienced along with many others is so overwhelming..."
I've been speaking with Taryn personally and her attitude about all of this has been one that is hopeful. Having all of their loved ones around them again and knowing that they are safe is such a precious thing! As you may know, for Andrew and I friendships mean everything. We love this couple very much and in this time I know there is help needed in so many places, but I would really like to give YOU the opportunity to help them start over. So until October 31st half of all family and portrait sessions that are booked will go to them! If you are interested in doing a shoot please visit our contact page and if you would like to give directly you can do so by clicking ---> here.
Thank you so much for reading! Together lets help make one devastating story into something beautiful.
